New perspectives for the Corviale neighborhood, Rome: Mattarella welcomes Calciosociale’s Field of Miracles.
In Corviale, a popular neighborhood in the south-west suburb of Rome, known for its history as a place of occupations and social disease, the non-profit amateur soccer club Calciosociale launches The Field of Miracles.
The new 11-a-side soccer field joins the already existing sport structures and it is an experiment of inclusion and rehabilitation of the neighbourhood, it is the proud of young people and families who have been involved in the sport, pedagogical and psycho-therapeutic activities of Calciosociale since long.
The principles and values promoted by Calciosociale are based on the vision of the game of soccer as a metaphor of life. Through sport, they want to promote the values of acceptance, of respect for diversities, of the healthy growth of the human being and of the healthy relationship with society, focusing on the abilities and not the lacks of people who are considered to be difficult to deal with.
To celebrate the new opening, in a speech by the Mayor of Rome Gualtieri, the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, was also there to celebrate. With his words he launched a message of inclusion and mutual recognition: “If children learn to collaborate and help each other, this will allow them in the future to be positive players in our country. Respect and help each other because if this is established in society, it is established among the states of the world: respect, trust and collaboration.” Then a joke: “I learned that one of the rules of Calciosociale is that penalties are taken by the weakest: if it had been applied when I was a kid, it would have allowed me to kick some penalties…”.

Neue Perspektiven für das Corviale-Viertel in Rom: Mattarella begrüßt das Feld der Wunder von Calciosociale.
In Corviale, einem beliebten Viertel im südwestlichen Vorort von Rom, das für seine Geschichte als Ort der sozialen Benachteiligungen bekannt ist, eröffnet der gemeinnützige Amateurfußballverein Calciosociale das „Feld der Wunder“.
Das neue 11-a-Seiten-Fußballfeld schließt sich an die bereits bestehenden Sportstrukturen an und ist ein Experiment zur Eingliederung und Rehabilitation des Viertels. Es ist der Stolz junger Menschen und Familien, die seit langem in die sportlichen, pädagogischen und psychotherapeutischen Aktivitäten von Calciosociale eingebunden sind.
Die von Calciosociale geförderten Prinzipien und Werte beruhen auf der Vision des Fußballspiels als Metapher für das Leben. Durch den Sport sollen die Werte der Akzeptanz, des Respekts vor der Vielfalt, der gesunden Entwicklung des Menschen und der gesunden Beziehung zur Gesellschaft gefördert werden, wobei der Schwerpunkt auf den Fähigkeiten und nicht auf den Mängeln von Menschen liegt, die als schwierig im Umgang mit ihnen gelten.
Um die Neueröffnung zu feiern, hielt der Bürgermeister von Rom, Gualtieri, eine Rede, an der auch der Präsident der Republik, Sergio Mattarella, teilnahm. Mit seinen Worten verbreitete er eine Botschaft der Integration und gegenseitigen Anerkennung: “Wenn die Kinder lernen, zusammenzuarbeiten und sich gegenseitig zu helfen, werden sie in der Zukunft positive Akteure in unserem Land sein können. Respektiert und helft euch gegenseitig, denn wenn das in der Gesellschaft etabliert ist, ist es auch unter den Staaten der Welt etabliert: Respekt, Vertrauen und Zusammenarbeit.” Und dann ein Witz: “Ich habe gelernt, dass eine der Regeln des Calciosociale ist, dass der Schwächste den Elfmeter schießt: Wenn diese Regel in meiner Kindheit gegolten hätte, hätte ich einige Elfmeter schießen können…”.

A Corviale, quartiere popolare della periferia sud-ovest di Roma, conosciuto alla cronaca come luogo di occupazioni e disagio sociale, la società sportiva dilettantistica senza scopo di lucro Calciosociale inaugura Il Campo dei miracoli.
Il nuovo campo di calcio a 11 affianca le strutture già esistenti ed è l’esperimento di integrazione e riscatto del quartiere, è l’orgoglio di ragazzi e genitori che da anni sono coinvolti nelle attività sportive, pedagogiche e psico-terapeutiche di Calciosociale.
I principi e i valori proposti da Calciosociale risiedono nella visione del gioco del calcio inteso come metafora della vita. Attraverso lo sport, si vogliono promuovere i valori dell’accoglienza, del rispetto delle diversità, della corretta crescita della persona e del sano rapporto con la società, incentrando l’attenzione sulle capacità e non sui deficit dei soggetti considerati difficili.
A celebrare la nuova apertura, oltre al Sindaco di Roma Gualtieri, presenzia anche il Presidente della Repubblica, Sergio Mattarella. Con le sue parole lancia un messaggio di integrazione e di riconoscimento dell’altro: «Se i bambini imparano a collaborare e ad aiutarsi tra loro, questo gli consentirà in futuro di essere protagonisti in positivo del nostro Paese. Rispettatevi e aiutatevi perché se questo si afferma nella società, si afferma tra gli stati del mondo: il rispetto, la fiducia e la collaborazione». Poi una battuta: «Ho saputo che una delle regole del Calcio sociale che applicate è che i rigori li tira il più debole: se fosse stata applicata quando ero ragazzino io, mi avrebbe permesso di calciare qualche rigore…».
