Fines related to incitement to violence, racism, xenophobia or intolerance at sports events
In Portugal, the practice of acts or incitement to violence, racism, xenophobia or intolerance at sports events may be punishable by a fine of between one thousand and ten thousand Euros. In addition to the fine, you can also be denied entry to venues for up to two years.
The post-pandemic period has again brought more cases of racism in Portuguese soccer stadiums. Since August 2021, when the Portuguese championship started, and until January 2022, there were 64 incidents of incitement to violence, racism, xenophobia, intolerance or hatred, which resulted in 77 fans being arrested, 312 identified and 50 banned.
In 2021, the Authority for the Prevention and Combat of Violence in Sport (APCVD) recorded 17 administrative offenses for the practice of acts or incitement to violence, racism, xenophobia and intolerance in sporting events (not only in soccer, but this is the sport with more cases recorded in the different associations and levels).
The fines range from 125€ to 1000€, and there are also situations that were only answered with a warning. In total, in the year 2021, 9000€ in fines were added corresponding to this type of infraction, with these acts being responsible for 15% of the bans and 26% of the fines applied..
Geldbußen im Zusammenhang mit Anstiftung zu Gewalt, Rassismus, Fremdenfeindlichkeit oder Intoleranz bei Sportveranstaltungen
In Portugal kann die Ausübung oder Anstiftung zu Gewalt, Rassismus, Fremdenfeindlichkeit oder Intoleranz bei Sportveranstaltungen mit einer Geldstrafe zwischen 1.000€ und 10.000€ geahndet werden. Zusätzlich zu der Geldstrafe kann Tätern auch der Zutritt zu Veranstaltungsorten für bis zu zwei Jahre verweigert werden.
Die Zeit nach der Pandemie hat erneut zu mehr Fällen von Rassismus in portugiesischen Fußballstadien geführt. Seit August 2021, als die portugiesische Meisterschaft begann, und bis Januar 2022 gab es 64 Fälle von Anstiftung zu Gewalt, Rassismus, Fremdenfeindlichkeit, Intoleranz oder Hass, die dazu führten, dass 77 Fans verhaftet, 312 identifiziert und 50 mit einem Stadionverbot belegt wurden.
Im Jahr 2021 verzeichnete die Behörde für Prävention und Bekämpfung von Gewalt im Sport (APCVD) 17 Ordnungswidrigkeiten wegen der Ausübung von oder Anstiftung zu Gewalt, Rassismus, Fremdenfeindlichkeit und Intoleranz bei Sportveranstaltungen (nicht nur im Fußball, wo allerdings die meisten Fälle in den verschiedenen Verbänden und Ebenen registriert wurden).
Die Bußgelder reichen von 125€ bis 1.000€. Auf einige Situationen wurde nur mit einer Abmahnung reagiert. Insgesamt wurden im Jahr 2021 9.000€ an Geldbußen verhängt. Von diesen Verstößen waren 15% für die erwähnten Stadionverbote und 26% der Geldstrafen verantwortlich.

In Portogallo, la pratica di atti o l’incitamento alla violenza, al razzismo, alla xenofobia o all’intolleranza durante le manifestazioni sportive può essere punita con una multa da mille a diecimila euro. Oltre alla multa, può essere negato l’ingresso alle manifestazioni fino a due anni.
Il periodo post-pandemia ha portato di nuovo più casi di razzismo negli stadi di calcio portoghesi. Da agosto 2021, quando è iniziato il campionato portoghese, e fino a gennaio 2022, ci sono stati 64 incidenti di incitamento alla violenza, al razzismo, alla xenofobia, all’intolleranza o all’odio, che hanno portato all’arresto di 77 tifosi, 312 identificati e 50 banditi.
Nel 2021, l’Autorità per la prevenzione e la lotta contro la violenza nello sport (APCVD) ha registrato 17 infrazioni amministrative per la pratica di atti o incitamento alla violenza, al razzismo, alla xenofobia e all’intolleranza in eventi sportivi (non solo nel calcio, ma questo è lo sport con più casi registrati nelle diverse associazioni e livelli).
Le multe vanno da 125€ a 1000€, e ci sono anche situazioni a cui si è risposto solo con un avvertimento. In totale, nell’anno 2021, sono stati aggiunti 9000€ di multe corrispondenti a questo tipo di infrazione, e questi atti sono responsabili del 15% dei divieti e del 26% delle multe applicate.
